Jeshurun Christian Ministry serves to evangelize and witness to the unbeliever that salvation is the grace of God to mankind, (Eph. 2:8-9) …received by faith alone in Christ alone, (John 3:3-8, 16-18, 36; 5:24; Revelation 20:15; Acts 16:31; Romans 8:1-2). This acknowledgement of faith is the only method authorized by God for salvation. It is the prayer to God the Father in the privacy of your own soul, that you BELIEVE that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the uniquely born Son of God, co-equal with God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, 22:43-45; Romans 10:9, 13; Acts 4:12; John 5:10, 14:6, 20:31; Timothy 2:5). Faith is a non-meritous act, not based on emotion, weeping at a mourner’s bench, inviting Jesus into your heart (the reverse invitation) making Jesus Lord (He is already) raising your hands or walking an isle. As the Apostle Paul stated in Acts 16:31, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, You and Your Family." Jeshurun is a Hebrew word that means Righteous. It is found only four times in the Bible: Deuteronomy 33:5, 33:15, 33:26 and Isaiah 44:2. It is a fraternity of the highest ranking spiritual believers defined by Moses in Old Testament times (i.e., Job, David, Caleb, Joshua) and during the Church Age (Paul, Titus, John, Matthew, Luke) who have reached that unique level of occupation with Christ. (Ephesians 3:19) At the moment of salvation, we as believers are granted an inheritance as heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17; Ephesians 1:14, 18; Col 3:24; Hebrews 9:15; I Peter 1:4). We were called (I Thess. 5:24), elected (Romans 8:33), predestined (Romans 8:29-30, Ephesians 1:5, 11) and foreknown (Acts 2:23; Romans 8:29; I Peter 1:2). |
